      Pros

      Best place to work in a small town but that's not really saying much in a town full of fast food and Walmart

      Cons

      No matter how good of an employee you are it still only depends on who you know. Way too many levels of management. They stay surfing on the internet while telling hourly associates to stay off their phones. Hypocrisy. There is absolutely no leadership in management only "boss" mentality. It seems like it's general managements life mission is to promote the most incompetent person they can find. Management has no regard for employee engagement and morale suffers immensely with most hourly associates talking about Union so they can get some type of representation.

      Pros

      World class products, people and sites. The Kohler name is well-known and well-respected in the industry and outside the industry.

      Cons

      Some of the most inept middle management I've ever encountered. There's a tendency to have people in the roles that cannot make a decision to save their life, and are big on analysis paralysis. The review process is a joke, and punishes taking on large scale projects. I recorded the most savings in the company for three years in a row, and never was permitted to progress, because I went to the wrong college. Oddly, six other companies didn't feel the same way, and offered 40% more to jump ship.

      Fair benefits, which is pretty much it

      Cons

      Other than benefits, this is the worst working environment that I've seen in 25 years. Imperialistic, political, internally focused organization. Zero work life balance that pays below average wage scale.
