      Greatt company but doesn't let anyone make decisions regardless of how senior

      Pros

      Private, diverse, lots of people work here for decades. The town is neat and the hotels and golf courses are great. The whole family is involved. The younger generation is more progressive but Mr Kohler has created something extraordinary

      Cons

      Takes ages to get any decisions because of a crazy approval process that is required for anything including hiring, firing, purchasing, promotions etc. Morale can be pretty low at times because of these frustrations.

      Pros

      - Great pool of subject matter experts - Friendly and helpful staff - Comfortable pace of work, and generally flexible with staff

      Cons

      - Experience is all that matters, if you are grey and old and talk a lot you must be good! - Potential has no meaning - Very slow with growth and recognition of people, opportunities, etc - Terrible micro managing can mean months of waiting on simple issues

      Pros

      Work force is getting younger. Union may go on strike, and hopefully this will allow management the opportunity to get rid of the dead weight that has been around for much to long.

      Cons

      This is the way it has always been done and there is no need for change. Get used to hearing that if you want to work here. If you like 1970's technology then this is the place for you.
