Kohler is ran by a self serving family. Gracious Living is something Herb Kohler strives to achieve for himself and his family, the rest of the employees can fend for themselves. What other company has to go to he CEO to approve the color or design of a product? This type of micromanaging hinders the creative process and casts asside the expertise of those they hire! Kohler has no idea how to communicate even good news, a monthly news letter via email is not communicating. Kohler is a name that is regonized worldwide based on past generations success and dedication to manufacturing quality product. Herb and, more over David Kohler, will destroy this name with their management of this company and it will become a shell of its former self in the near future.

Senior management has total disdain for their associates...treated us like dirt and did not trust us...we were grossly underpaid (I instantly earned more than 30% more when I left for another company in the building products industry)...sales force turnover was about 30% per year and THAT says a whole lot about a company culture.
