      Pros

      During the pandemic no employee was laid off . All employees from CEO to janitor took the same unpaid furlough. Komatsu treats employees very well. The mining equipment industry is very stable and growing despite global uncertainty.

      Cons

      Complacency and a lack of urgency. High performance is not rewarded like it should be. Low performance is tolerated.
