Pros

Free stuff and meeting new people and working with amazing people are the best parts of working at Krispy Kreme

Cons

It's terrible ... Customers are often grumpy and rude ( especially in morning shifts ) and communication is terrible between the staff and management . On top of the , the owners and managers do not care about the employees at all and often make up things for you to do that are NOT apart of your job description . The store I work at always has new rules by word-of-mouth . The rules change daily and I'm often doing things that people higher then me should be doing . You never get a pay raise on time and RARELY get them . Management is stingy to pay you and loves working you hard with little to no pay , I'm currently looking for a new Job & in the past 3 weeks 5 people have quit at my store . I WILL be the 6th .

Pros

-The customers are wonderful and you get to see all the happy babies -Great for a first job -Fun times with coworkers

Cons

They make you do all this work for little pay. Management sucks and don't care about staff. Because it's little pay, you have to get a 2nd job. When addressing that to upper management, they act surprised and act as if it's impossible! The turnover is extremely high.

Pros

Free doughnuts, weekly pay, decent benefits for full-time employees, meeting great clients on routes.

Cons

NO work-life balance for wholesale division (route sales), change in pay structure = FAR less pay with the same amount of effort, upper management arbitrarily decides to throw corporate merchandising guidelines out of the window at the drop of a hat, no room for advancement, on-premise management relies on fear tactics and negative reinforcement rather than praise and positive reinforcement.
