- Financial stability (no debt, high cash flow) - Very cost conscious and therefore very profitable - Global footprint -> Chances everywhere - International exposure guaranteed - Innovative services - High quality of services - Extremely solid IT environment - High awareness for importance of legal and ethical compliance

Cons

- Quality of HR not adequate for company with > 50,000 employees - Low compensation, even compared to the peer group - Quality of management very diverse, particularly in the middle management - Inconsequent people management

Pros

Its a good place to get valuable experince, and managment is really good about compromising with giving you time off when needed

Cons

Managment seems lost at times, the regular employess understand operations better than the main people in charge, they do not promote from with in, or when they do promote from with in, is some managment's cousin, or babysitter

Pros

Solid company, great IT, encouragement from management and outstanding support. I just started and saw that people have been there for a while are happy working there. This is a company that has no debt, cash surplus, and is ready to weather the storm ahead in 2009. Great choice of managers, knowleageble personel, and people that are happy working there. There are no wastes, company is frugal where it should be, and invests on where it should invest. It provides the support cusotmers needs, and does not have the arrogance of similar compatitors. Great place to work, in any office.

Cons

low starting salaries, that is all. You have to prove yourself before you can grow in the company. Oh, the name is hard to pro nounce, so if customers haven't heard of the company, we need to say KN instead of the full name. try to give the email address, XXX@kuehne-nagel.com Try spelling that over the phone when two people have accents! Because the IT is so spectacular, sometimes it might be slow, and that makes it hard to use all the sustem features. But then, IT support is also very good, so... It balances out at the end, so its ok.
