Pros
Regular performance reviews that recognized and rewarded hard work until last year. 1st line managers were personable and tried very hard to foster a culture of team, inclusion, and empathy. Vast offering of continued learning resources (Cloud/PM/Dev, etc.) to further your knowledge. Team was very helpful with varying amounts of experience, generally your day-to-day interaction was with very well intentioned people who were hitting the same walls as you with management or offshore teams.
Cons
Most importantly- if you are a US employee, your role will likely be shifted to another region. Otherwise, a really positive work-life balance experience with chance to be fully remote. Overall post-Spin, the culture went south. Massive amount of red tape was put in place where things could not get done, answers were not provided in order to continue BAU, and the talk of flat, fast, and focused began to fade away. Teams were slowly being chipped away at and eventually entire teams were gone for critical tasks. Culture that was established at the beginning was only talk after spin, which was sad to see.
