Started promising, but greed took precedence over company heart

Pros

This was a family owned business at one point, and the employees were treated like family- good benefits, supportive work environment, decent work/life balance.

Cons

But once the company was sold, it turned into a game of trying to ratchet up the apparent value of the company in order to "flip" it and sell it to the next firm. The only thing that mattered was making the company look valuable, and employees and customers alike suffered for it.

Lots of great customers and inside sales are great folks

Cons

Top management sucks, middle management way too political, unaware of the business as they came from a different style

Started as a great company and then changed

Pros

Many of the people are dedicated to their job. The company is positioned in a growth market with strong potential to grow with the market. Some management staff is excellent and does their best to work with employees.

Cons

Some managers are verbally abusive of the employees. Some of the middle/upper management has no idea of what the company is about or how it had been successful. Morale is extremely low and there has been significant turnover in key positions. Replacements have been poorly selected and lack the skills to do the job they carry the title for. Communication is handled via threats. When bad hires are discovered, there is a lack of action to the obvious. Instead, good employees either leave or are terminated because of the bad managers.
