Top management sucks, middle management way too political, unaware of the business as they came from a different style

Pros

Gained a lot of experience and lots of friendly people to talk to. Warehouse personnel were great.

Cons

There were a lot of changes going on in upper management that made a lot of people uncomfortable. Once the new CEO was brought in that made things even worse.

Solid Mid Level Position-But those managing the Sales Force need a more targeted approach

Pros

Mid level base salary for a sales rep with a little experience to a mid-level rep. CRM system is good. Overall decent co-workers and hard working staff. Flexibility to run your own desk and decent support when asking questions.

Cons

Lower commission scale, not up to par. Manager of the Sales Force may have vision, but seems to hold meetings just for the sake of having them, rather than every meeting being targeted. Managers of the sales staff were not able to show the active base accounts for the book of business or even the growth from the past few years. Every sales operation should be able to do this for their sales reps. The sales reps themselves should have the ability to view accounts that have purchased at 30 days, 6 months, 1 year etc. I am sure the executives have such information, why does the sales staff not have this visibility?
