Pros

The actual reset work can be straightforward, especially if you already know the project.

Cons

Very poor communication and inconsistent handling of employees. I was hired under a signed offer letter at $25/hr with no travel requirement. Later, management disputed the rate but failed to handle it properly and even continued paying the higher rate due to their own lack of coordination. I was eventually removed from the only local team and reassigned to a travel-based role that wasn’t workable for me, despite being told by HR that I left in good standing. This year, I applied again for the same local project at the same $25/hr rate. I received an email saying I was a “perfect fit” and they were eager to talk, but once I replied, the recruiter never responded. This reinforced the ongoing lack of follow-through and internal communication. Proceed with caution if you value transparency and consistency

Pros

What's great about this job is the flexible start time for your day and the ability to stop work and return if you need to. Great for people with families or busy home lives.

Cons

A lot of the issues that crop up in this job are due to people's poor communication. Both company side and client side

Pros

*L&R's new company mission, "The L&R Way" is showing a positive outlook for the company * Communication between upper management and the field merchandisers has been elevated * Perfect job for part time merchandisers looking for a job with high expectations, structure and a good training program. *INET system (information system) good resource for all account policies, and procedures. *Chain Sales Support department in place to assist field merchandisers and customers In the many years I have been working for L&R I have experienced a lot of changes, both good and bad, it feels like we are moving in a positive direction, with upper management being in touch with the backbone of the company, the field merchandisers. Lots of new innovation happening at L&R.

Cons

none that I can report

Pros

I have worked for L&R for 11+ years. It's a great company to work for. Everyone is approachable right up to the CEO and the owner. People are happy to help you with things you don't understand. At L&R, mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn. The benefits package is good and the company growth means job security.

Cons

I work in the field and find that sometimes communication is a little slow -regarding changes in policies, etc. While I feel my pay rate is fair, pay raises are small with long intervals in between. I feel it's the only drawback to working here.
