      They're trying to be excellent, but the result is just OK

      Pros

      - Good pay with respect to the job market. - Good work life balance with respect to similar companies. - Some projects are actually interesting and not some nebulous, abstract concept.

      Cons

      - Leadership is fragmented amongst different divisions, so one site may be run like a well oiled machine while another site may be filled with headless chickens. Kind of hit or miss. - Lack of true senior leaders or domain experts in my particular division. - Lack of cross-collaboration or cross-utilization of knowledge and resources. Probably due to several recent company acquisitions. - Some parts of the IT infra are hopelessly stuck 10 years behind, which actually hinders our engineering progress. Lots of red tape in IT.
