Work-life balance is effectively nonexistent. Employees are routinely expected to be available nights and weekends, and this is treated as a baseline expectation rather than an exception. For exempt employees, the workload translates into continuous unpaid overtime, with no acknowledgment or relief. Compensation growth is stagnant and demotivating. Even high performers are typically limited to ~2% annual increases, while those meeting expectations receive even less—despite fully delivering on their responsibilities. There is little to no meaningful differentiation in rewards, making extra effort feel pointless. The rollout of systems, policies, and regulatory changes is consistently chaotic. Implementation lacks planning, coordination, and adequate training, forcing employees to navigate shifting processes with minimal guidance. This creates unnecessary inefficiencies and constant frustration. Senior leadership appears disconnected from operational realities and has normalized unrealistic expectations. There is a clear lack of respect for employee time and capacity, which has resulted in widespread burnout, low morale, and ongoing turnover.
