Flexible work schedule Work as a contractor so you charge hourly, which allows for overtime. Also you’re only expected to work 40 hours per week unlike a lot of tech jobs that expect >40hpw without any extra pay Great job security

Cons

Have to be eligible for and maintain a security clearance Working in government so most tech stacks are outdated Pay is less competitive. Limited wfh capability depending on what you are working on
