      Has potential but many problems

      Pros

      Steady work. Training provided. Little to no stress. Long design times. You only have to do one hat task, others do things like symbols and footprints for schematics and separate people for layout rather than you having to do everything yourself.

      Cons

      Huge Company and easy to get lost. Need to make contacts and make sure you stay employed. Process is very bloated and slow. Tremendous amount of frustration from stupid things from process to tools not working.

      L3H doesn't respect Network Engineers

      Pros

      If you plan to retire as Network Engineer, make sure L3H pays you a really high rate.

      Cons

      L3H does not promote from within. I was told that my 27 years with another company could not be used as experience for my promotion. I was told I needed to a Lunch-and-Learns, or save a VP's career before being considered. I spent 5 years at L3H and had to learn the hard way. I'm with another company now that works on programs with L3H and it is very apparent that they do not understand basic networking.
