There is always talk of layoffs of the project engineering group as well as production when project near completion. Designs are rushed through by management and major design failures occur that need to be redesigned in production. Their documentation processes have little version control and are mostly manual excel spreadsheets. There were unusual major failures at the end of projects that extend them by months. They are constantly hiring for the same positions partly because they take 8 weeks to get new people critical system access to perform their job, while requesting them to get the reports completed even though they know you don’t have access to complete it. After all that you discover they left off critical system and don’t allow you access to them. Beware of this company life balance is not their strong suite, and they’re stuck in the past with no action towards positive change.

The culture has changed. Covid changed the world, and Harris didn't get the memo. Not everyone has to be tethered to an office desk. Some work so much better in a more relaxed environment, and some...even more hours and harder in that type of relaxed environment. Customers should always come first, but employees should also be considered in order to make your customers happy.
