Pros

They offer PTO, Health benefits, and retirement benefit. These are average at best and not really a pro since most companies offer these. Employees, mostly those in the trenches, are great people and a joy to work with.

Cons

Since L3 and Harris merger discovered it was more of a less hostile take over. Forcing their bad management into positions of power over current managers. We were moved into a building that had no space and now we all have little room making for very crowded positions. We have to pay for that space from them so really not a merger. Management, especially the higher tiers, is so bad from Harris it really isn't even funny. The corporate mindset is why many workers are leaving companies in droves. These managers from Harris are the reason why. If you come in on your day off and work 8 hours after already working 50 plus hours during the week they want you to stay even later. Had 2 employees with family items and they were told they need to be in because they have no back ups due to those previous workers leaving. Their lack of caring about the workers is truly the most disgusting thing I have experienced at a company. The employees low moral because of this is very disheartening. Our group has lost at least 75% (not an exaggeration) of the employees in the group since moving into this building. Even a couple employees didn't even stay 2 years. If you are on on the floor they will continually ask you to work days off which is the weekends and holidays due to their concern over money and the lack of employees.

Pros

160 hours of PTO 40 hours sick time (This will likely be lowered in the future because this company is trying to cut out every good thing going for it)

Cons

Mandatory overtime. They no longer have flex-time. They are forcing everyone onto a 9/80 non-flexible schedule. Systems engineering is almost entirely compromised of unprofessional and unqualified people that are very difficult to work with. They continue to invent new management positions whos entire job it is to email other people to provide metrics.

Pros

Flexible with work from home, depending on your role. PTO Interesting work Decent salaries

Cons

New CHQ marketing and comms leaders unqualified, but CEO doesn't realize this or care. Seeing positions filled through cronyism/people without corporate experience. It's become an unprofessional support function that won't be able to support company's vision. No way to get promoted. Outside people brought in instead because the focus is on talent acquisition and not retention. Company doesn't know how to/is uninterested in trying to retain employees. Good people are leaving and that's a shame.
