Pros

I could write an entire book on the greatness of this company. There’s so many aspects as to why I value and cherish being a part of this organization so much. The core values here are upheld from the bottom to the top of the organization. The executive team is beyond amazing, they really know how to make the employees feel important. I’ve had so much interaction with the CEO & COO in my time here, they remember all the employees by name, remember things about you that you would never think they would, and they take all of the performing sales reps on a company trip every year. I have never worked some where where you have the opportunity to meet and be around the CEO & COO as much as you do here. If you are good at your job, you get rewarded, generously. The bonus levels are insane, the more Homes you close the higher the bonus levels go. Not to mention the commissions we get paid. Paid vacation time is awesome, nice 401k match, good benefits package, employee stock program... the list goes on. Plus on top of all that, you have the honor of helping people become homeowners. Most for the first time. I could never see myself working at another company. Best home builder in America. This review was not asked for, influenced or exaggerated. LGI Homes is the real deal.

Cons

The only con I could say is work-life balance. Do not work here if you aren’t willing to work weekends. The hours can be long, and the schedule can be demanding but if you’ve been in sales or worked retail that should be no surprise to you. However you do, of course, have two days off during the week and a generous vacation bonus as well.
