Pros

The co-workers you meet that will be spending more time with you than your own family because of LONNNNNGGG HOURS!

Cons

Working for LGI Homes was one of the worst professional experiences I’ve ever had. This company operates more like a cult than a business. From day one, they make grand promises high income potential, fast-track career growth, and a supportive culture. but none of it holds up. In reality, you’ll burn through your savings trying to stay afloat. They pressure new hires into buying a brand-new car (yes, seriously) just to hold you hostage for that job with the new loan you got ” and they force to add them to your insurance and of course that means higher insurance costs too. Once you're in, you're locked into brutally long hours with no real flexibility or work-life balance. The product? Extremely low-quality homes at inflated prices. LGI targets customers who aren’t familiar with home buying and pushes sales through high-pressure tactics. It’s unsettling how they take advantage of people who don’t know better. Meanwhile, sales reps are expected to grind through hundreds of unqualified leads using a pen and a paper like 1890, no CRM no technology They claim you'll make good money, but you won't , they buy lots and build where not even cockroaches wants to live,, and working yourself into the ground. High turnover is the norm here; they’re constantly hiring new reps every 3 months just to keep up appearances. Management pretends to care by remembering your name lol don’t just give me my money! Bottom line: LGI Homes is a toxic, misleading, and soul draining environment. Save your time, your money, and your sanity—look elsewhere.

Pros

Kept a positive environment throughout. Set you up to be hired for a better builder due to there training.

Cons

You will go broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!! working for this company if you don't have 1yrs of income saved I would not recommend this job. You will need therapy after working here because you will go hard and never get anywhere but broke. You will need to purchase a brand new car with special insurance which they will need to be added as an interested party they only pay $325 towards car allowance/mobile so be prepare to deal with nothing but cockroaches leads that have 500 credit score they pitch rent to own program to get people in not really offering that program just a bunch of lies. NO WORK LIFE BALANCE YOU WILL WORK MANY HOURS AND YOU WILL BE MISERABLE!!!!! THEY SELL YOU DREAMS,
