Pros

Its a large company and the opportunity to transfer is available. The company likes to reward loyalty by providing all expenses paid vacations to employees that meet the 5 year mark. There lots of snacks and depending on your sales manager you get free lunch everyday and always on Thursdays. Weekly team meetings.

Cons

Very cult like. There are certain words you cannot say such as "try". Somehow everyone adopts a southern accent (not a real con but just strange). The Office Manager position is basically a glorified receptionist and also one of the only positions that have normal 8:30 - 5pm m-f schedule. The managers and VPs blatantly talked poorly about the Sales Team and anyone that left the company was said to be "dead to everyone". If you are working in anything other than sales then you get the bottom end of the stick. There is a clear hierarchy and the Office Manager is at the bottom. Mileage reimbursement is far below than the national average. Pay is not based on merit but rather how long you have worked with the company. There is not enough work to get through the week. I would only have real work on Mondays and whenever there was a closing. Aside from that then I was surfing the web.

Pros

Culture - if you're willing to drink the kool-aid, you might really enjoy the culture.

Cons

CANI - Constant and Never-ending Improvement also means Constant and Never-ending Increases in job responsibility with no additional compensation. It's very much "what can you do for the company" and less about "what can the company do for you." (Unless you're in sales.)
