      Salary is based on experienc and /qualifications. There is a culture of sharing. Learning opportunities abound.

      Work from home I set my own schedule - great for people who want a lot of flexibility Mostly wonderful career consulting candidates who are grateful for the help Very supportive managers Fantastic candidate portal Someone else takes care of resume writing They have support groups for candidates -> The work is spread for each candidates - Career Consultants are just one part of their support system There seems to be upward mobility for people on the corporate career track Excellent resources

      Cons

      Countercyclical industry: when I was hired last year, lots of companies were laying off people and Lee Hecht had a lot of candidates in the hopper. Now there is a lot less work for career consultants (which is not the company's fault) The pay is not great Hours employees don't get paid for online company townhalls and other company wide or regional meetings It's not a good job for people who are not well organized - career consultants have to proactively reach out to their candidates on a regular basis and hit their allocated hours - tough cookies when candidates cancel on short notice
