Pros

There really are no Pros. There is no leadership and when management is questioned no one can answer truthfully. You get passed off with each manager blaming the other.

Cons

Worked for LKQ for about 8 years. No salary increase for the last 5 years for our department. We were told by our director that the economy did not allow for any raises even though our region was exceeding its revenue goals each year. Then 2 days after Christmas my department was called for a meeting by our manager. In the meeting we were told our regional positions would end at 5 o'clock that day and our email and phones would be disabled. We had no warning only promises from our manager that nothing was going to change in our department when we asked about the restructuring of procurement. They offered a transfer to Akron, Oh to remain with the company but with a significant salary decrease. This actually ended up being the best thing to ever happen to me as this is a dead-end company for women.

Pros

Good pay and benefits depending on your position, and it's a large company, so there's opportunity to move up, as long as you're in the right circles.

Cons

Commission only pay structure, but there is essentially a cap on how much commission you can make. Stressful dealing with customers when service isn't a priority for managememt
