Pros

Great People, competitive compensation, interesting work. Its small enough for you to make a real difference, but large enough to create some great opportunities. LMI is a good place to serve your country while making a good living.

Cons

Government consulting is hard work. To some extent your experience will depend on your client. If your goal is to do as little as possible while flying under the radar this is probably not the place for you. If you are cut throat and have sharp elbows, this is probably not the place for you either.

Pros

-Lots of likeable, friendly, talented, smart co-workers. -Competent and capable managers who have your back. -Really tries to create an environment and culture to make employees feel valued. -decent pay and benefits.

Cons

-Sometimes, lack of transparency, especially the recent decision to eliminate bonuses. -Can feel disconnected from the company at large if you are working for a client. Especially now that remote work is the norm, it can feel like you are in your bubble. -Lower visibility when on the client site which leads to it being a struggle to advance and get promoted, and find additional work.

Thank you for your feedback – we’re glad that you enjoy your coworkers and LMI’s comprehensive benefits program! As you noted, a year ago we modified the eligibility criteria for our annual bonus program; however active, benefits-eligible, salaried employees who are not eligible for an annual bonus are able to participate in our spot bonus program. The spot bonus program rewards above-and-beyond performance throughout the year. If you have any additional feedback, reach out to conversation@lmi.org.
