Pros

Great pay, good location. A few good middle and upper management people.

Cons

Some of the middle management have attitude problems. When speaking to people they tend to be rather rude and unprofessional (Rolling eyes, smacking lips, swaying their head, dismissing any opinion that is not their own, and interrupting whoever is speaking.), Witnessed people making loud personal phone calls in the main work area, witnessed more senior staff bad mouthing other workers (loudly) or clients, the social aspect is very cliquey (if certain people didn't feel you "fit" a large majority would exclude and not speak to you even in a professional setting) and they were not very good at scheduling training.

Pros

LMI's staff at all levels are engaged and truly believe that the work they do advances the functioning of the government. Most everyone is 'professional' in their approach to their work, their responsibilities to coworkers and to clients. The benefits are a little better than "OK" and the work-life balance at least gets some consideration, though not as much as some claim depending on for whom you work. Employer supported activities occur regularly to encourage a positive collegial climate. Many changes soon as company relocates and the structure of the work environment changes dramatically.

Cons

"brain drain" likely as the organization moves from personal offices to an "open office" floor plan and more established/senior employees determine they are unwilling to accept the change.

Pros

This used to be a great place to work.

Cons

Management is out of touch and many are not qualified to be leaders: it’s not about what you do, it’s about who you know. Benefits keep getting worse. Absent ceo that only makes appearances for photo opportunities, turns a blind eye to bad leadership on his own team. They are slowly chipping away at what made the company so great. Client does not come first anymore. LMI is no longer about public service. Bonuses eliminated for non leadership level, yet they boast great growth. Starting to feel like a revolving door. All the real talent has left, or is on the way out.
