Pros

I only have experience at one other company but LMI has been great for me so far.

Cons

Nothing I wouldn't expect out of a typical company. Superiors can offer one thing but that falls through so you're left with other options, which I do not believe is inherent to LMI.

Pros

LMI gives a fair nod to diversity, equality, and inclusion. The majority of my colleagues are personable, collaborative, and competent (though simultaneously discouraged and/or jaded). Depending on the contract or project, employees can have a lot of flexibility to set their working hours/schedule. Unlimited personal leave is a nice perk, IF an employee can use it (depends on client culture/needs).

Cons

Very distant, impersonal, and seemingly insincere relationship from management toward the rank and file. I am literally not even sure who my supervisor is or what he/she actually does. Zero transparency regarding salary ranges/potential, which facilitates exploitation of employees during initial salary negotiation and during annual reviews (assuming you are offered a performance review, because I have not been). Underperforming employees are tolerated by management. High-performing employees are expected to clean up messes (i.e., redo tasks/projects) of low- and nonperformers. Salary and "salary adjustments" are not commensurate with experience or performance (in too many cases), although employees do periodically get shiny but useless/off-brand "snappy gifts" worth approximately $20 (another pair of socks or scented candle, anyone?).
