      Excellent place to transition from military/government

      Pros

      - LMI offers incredible flexibility in how, where, and when you are able to work. - - Unlimited PTO - 401K 4% matching + 4% automatic contribution (up to 8% total) - Easy hiring / onboarding process - Substantial internal training opportunities and tuition reimbursement program for certifications - Good internal referral process - Loss of a contract does not mean loss of employment for employees on that contract - there is ability to move internally

      Cons

      - Matching and automatic contribution to 401K only begins after 1 year of employment, regardless of total work experience. - If working at remote client site, can be difficult to integrate into "HQ" culture b/c much of LMI remains remote

      Great People, Great Company, Tough Business

      Pros

      Great People, competitive compensation, interesting work. Its small enough for you to make a real difference, but large enough to create some great opportunities. LMI is a good place to serve your country while making a good living.

      Cons

      Government consulting is hard work. To some extent your experience will depend on your client. If your goal is to do as little as possible while flying under the radar this is probably not the place for you. If you are cut throat and have sharp elbows, this is probably not the place for you either.
