      Pros

      Very engaged consulting staff. Great benefits. Very intelligent and educated workforce. Work/Life balance.

      Cons

      Costs of benefits have increased, but are still very reasonable.

      It's a great place to work for someone who wants to work in consulting without the pressure of a for-profit firm.

      Pros

      LMI is a great place to work for people who want to do government consulting. However, what comes along with "government" consulting is a consulting at a much slower pace than what most are used to hearing about. For some this is a huge pro, but for others this can be a pretty big con. Management, particularly up to the VP level is extremely competent and in-touch with what the employees need and want.

      Cons

      Some folks entering the field of consulting may be doing to enter an intense work environment and satisfy their competitive urges. LMI is not the place for this.

      The benefits package provided at LMI is by far the biggest perk. Many people spend their entire careers at LMI.

      Cons

      Many people spend their entire careers at LMI. Difficult working with off-site employees when you are on site at LMI.
