Pros

Easy work. Supervisor was nice.

Cons

Owner is vindictive and uncommunicative. Will fire people over personal beef. Claims LEAN culture, but actively makes it harder to be efficient by providing poor equipment for the job. Ceiling leaks onto electrical equipment when it rains/snowmelt. Nobody seemed to know what any other department was doing at any given time. Computer system is outdated and frequently went down, including the time clocks. Little upward mobility, but will move you from department to department. Very high turnover.

Pros

The technology allows you to buildup a great customer base for your next career path, but being a part of the company itself entails working with narcissistic, conniving and greedy distributors that will suck the life out of you.

Cons

Working with distributors that truly don’t care about the people that work for them. They are quick to point the finger at everybody else and convince themselves that it’s never their fault. -You will be micromanaged. -You will build up a territory that will be slowly taken away from you once residuals are coming in. -You will be told that you have a voice and it matters, but it really doesn’t. -You will go home depressed and your family will hate hearing about how terrible Lokring is. -You will regret working for Lokring. -When you leave. It will be your fault no matter what.

Excellent opportunities to learn and grow. Great people. Mid-size company with a small company feel (in a good way). Employees have the ability to carve their own path - hard work and dedication are noticed and rewarded. Most managers are eager to help with development and growth and will reward initiative. If you are a problem-solver that can deliver consistent results, be prepared for rapid career acceleration. Self-motivated individuals will find it easy to get involved in other functional areas and get the chance to wear many hats. This is a very rewarding place to work for those who like to seek out extra work and take on new responsibilities. The company is financially stable and well diversified. Having a global customer base serving numerous industries means you are never stuck riding the economic roller coaster of a single customer or industry. Poised for massive growth over the next few years, and making smart moves to get there. Great time to get on-board if you can.

Cons

This is a growing company that is still developing the culture and processes to reach its goals. Work is not always easy and will you require you to do things that are outside of your comfort zone or job description. Wearing many hats can be stressful at times, and the rapid pace and workload can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. Sudden pivots in priorities and start/stop of projects can cause consternation at times. This place is not for you if you just want to coast through the day - everyone is expected to bring their A game and be committed to making improvements every day. *NOTE: I want to be clear that this is a good working environment and these are typical growing pains that all companies seeing rapid year-over-year growth experience at some level.
