Pros

Great hours, good people, good benefits for a small company, fun and exciting industry. Management has secured agreements with several lines that have great potential.

Cons

This Industry is getting very competitive due to internet giants such as Amazon and Guitar Center.

Pros

It's the music Industry, which is of course both fun and interesting, and the hours were great. I am no longer there due to a career change, however, I am a musician and still follow the company. I know that every major music retailer now carries at least one of their guitar lines.

Cons

I had a great experience there. Enjoyed my coworkers and management treated me fairly, no real "cons" to report.

Wasted Potential

Pros

The employees are a tight knit group of extremely kind and inviting people. Some of the staff has been there for 15+ years and are the sole reason the company is still afloat.

Cons

It all begins at the top. There is a monumental disconnect between owners and employees. The only interaction between the owner and the 3-6 person sales staff was done through tedious emails. There were no meetings, no performance reviews, no promotion from within. In fact, demotion from within was far more common. This created an extremely low company morale. Secondly, the company's marketing is very archaic. An almost non existent web presence, a website that wreaks of 1998, and no print catalog all add to this mess.
