      decent place, nice people, good location in la jolla doesn't hurt at all. not very difitcult to find yourself in management

      Cons

      clicky, the people who have worked there for over 10 years tend to form a click with each other and alienate the new ones

      Opportunities if you like the politics game Some departments can be great if you have a good leader/co-workers For some departments, just get your job done and have flexible hours

      Out of touch leadership Culture of exclusion for V-level employees and up Over 15% of workforce is VP or higher Decisions made from the ivory tower without consulting the worker bees on the ground who actually do the work Major politics Management expects to be treated like royalty with bloated sense of self-importance
