Overall a good experience, lots of politics however

Pros

- At the engineer level is a great place to work. - They are very flexible about hours and vacation etc.

Cons

- Too many politics in the management area - You are not always allowed to take initiative or work on what you want to - Work/Life balance is getting worse.

New management is changing the culture of the company

Pros

LSI (old Agere) has not been the best place to work due to the constant work force reduction for the last 6 to 7 years. Since Ahbi took over the company in 2007, the new management team has been doing a good job trying to improve the image of the company and pump the morale. They have done a good job so far, although there are still a lot need to be changed.

Cons

Lots of politics and finger pointing.
