- Has the comforts of a big stable brand. If you consistently perform you will have job security and if you have a capable leader it can be a fun place to work. - Depending on your position salaried pay can be better than the market average. - Trips & perks for top performers. - Market dominance - the brand owns the market and thus you are competing against your own results, not external competitors. - If you are new to Retail this is a great place to learn the value of effective execution and navigating the corporate environment.

Cons

All the trappings of a very large brand: - Disconnect between field teams and head office operations - Big brand = micromanagement & lack of autonomy - Culture is what you make it, it will be dependent on your immediate leader and not head office's vision of culture. - (this might sound harsh although it is not meant to me - and is not exclusive to this brand) - don't expect loyalty based on tenure or prior good results. You're a commodity, and are as valued as your most recent cycle of performance. - Little room for innovation & an entrepreneurial spirit. You have marching orders and you follow them. - Once they have decided to do something, no advice or data from the field can dissuade them, you just have to get on board.
