Pros

You may learn about the history of Lingerie. Their stores are also usually located in relatively nice areas. If you are fortunate enough to be able to afford the products with a 30% discount, you can take advantage of that.

Cons

Nonconstructive pressure to make sales targets created an extremely competitive and negative work environment. The commission structure seemed purposefully confusing. Never earned a livable wage.

Pros

The salary was quite good for the market, though very complicated with fixed part and variables. 40% discount and "vente presse"

Cons

There is basically only negative experience. The uniform is disgusting - they gave you dirty dresses of employees who left. I had to wait 3 months before having a new one. Three months I had to wear the same old dress! They provide with no private place where you can change. I was also sharing my wardrobe with another girl as they had no other available. We had to change ourselves either in toilet or kitchen or just in the middle of headquarter. They are crazy about ponytails and hiding the elastic band! You can not choose any other style. The store management would gradually put almost all the back office tasks on sales associate - reconciling cash register, managing inter store transfers, managing stock replenishment, deposing money in the bank, preparing reports. Not even following mail inquiries. All this were done with promising chances of promotion. At the end, there were always hiring their connections for management position or they would bring their favorites from different stores. All the "promotions" are first proposed off-paper with no actual job offer behind. They just get you do the work with no pay rise and actual change! The condition of stock is just dangerous. There is no place for products and the drawers are full and heavy and would fall on your head. The products are all disformed and get damaged. The managers treat their sales force as ignorant persons and often accused them of lacking a positive attitude (imagine this!!) or other personal qualities, but would never lead by example. No training. Managers would go to Italy, but after they are hardly able to pass any information. They don't even know their products well enough. Very difficult to have days-off or take your extra hours. They are unwilling to hire people. You can be even two persons in two stored shop with a stock on third floor. They have no budget even for a doorman. Company does presents only for top executives. They would not even provide you with water cooler. They play with your pays as they like. They are incompetent in legal questions as well. They like menacing you and offending. The office people look at you as you don't exist. While their Marketing Manager wouldn't even participate and choosing products for Photo shootings and press inquiries. Just very very bad. Don't come to work there, not in Paris at least.
