No Raise

Pros

Love working with kids. Most co-workers were easy to get along with. You had the week-ends off and they close at 6pm.

Cons

Didn't get a raise after a year of dedication. Stressful being bounced around classroom to classroom with no rhyme or reason. Hour lunch with no pay but then didn't get two paid 15 minutes. Always ended up staying after shift without warning or being asked. Working with kids you catch every cold and flu. They could only allow one person off at a time, so if someone had that day off and you end up sick, you are out of luck. Had to do doctors appointments on my lunch break many times because it wasn't easy to get a day off and I worked all the way through most doctor and dentist offices hours.

Pros

I loved the people that I worked with and I loved the kids in the infant room.

Cons

The management was awful and we were understaffed. We were working open to close, and forced to take long breaks so we wouldn't get overtime.
