Pros

Really smart technical people, sustainable business operation, and a focus on continuous individual improvement.

Cons

Much of the day-to-day work is done at client locations, so it is hard to develop a strong company feel (but they definitely work hard to remedy this problem).

Pros

Interview process was efficient, and Lab kept in contact with me nearly every day. My in office interviews were somewhat long, but varied in scope and efficient with respect to time.

Cons

Lab has a role structure that I was not familiar with, and thus each interviewer had to spend some time trying to explain how it works. Perhaps the first session could be an overview so there is less of a gap in vocabulary.

Pros

The Lab is filled with very smart, highly collaborative and driven people. Their client base in financial services is second to none, and management does an excellent job of marketing to top tier firms. As a result, the engagements are challenging and interesting. The office in NY has so much local business that you will never be sent to the middle of nowhere traveling 4 days out of 5, which is an issue for me with large consulting firms; though you can be asked to travel. Great benefits as well. The view from the 50th floor overlooking Central Park is incredible when you are in the office.

Cons

The culture of the NY office is generally anti-work from home, though they will make arrangements with individuals who need that for some reason.
