Fairly new at LabKey - but excited about company

Pros

Interesting mix of individuals at LabKey that are highly skilled. Focused development team that is focused on getting things done (agile methodology). Clients that include world-class research organizations, including Fred Hutch, Gates Foundation, Benaroya Research Institute, Novartis, and Novo Nordisk (all publicly known clients)

Cons

All hours must be tracked to clients (or internal clients) - which can be kind of annoying. Because it is a spin out of Fred Hutch (and tied into the Seattle research community), the company can sometimes kind of have blinders on regarding other opportunities.

Pros

We work as a cohesive team and truly enjoy working together. Good benefits, solid management that encourages and supports individual as well as corporate growth.

Cons

Flexible work schedules means more than you get to work from home or take time off for family or fun, it means you need to be flexible with your coworkers as they do the same. This can be a hard transition if you're used to core hours of 9am-5pm.
