Pros

Company mission (help cure diseases), flexibility, low drama, staff with self-motivation, excellent healthcare plan, bus pass.

Cons

Upward mobility can be a challenge depending on your department, PTO is barely above the minimum required by the City of Seattle's PSST ordinance for combined sick and vacation time.

Awesome place to work

Pros

LabKey has an excellent corporate culture that is very positive, collaborative, respectful and supportive. Everyone embraces teamwork in a big way. It also has great flexibility, allowing a lot of remote working and time for the rest of life. And to top it off, the work is very meaningful and interesting, helping researchers fight cancer, HIV, Zika and many other medical issues. LabKey is also very well managed, with steady growth. I've been in the industry for a long time and this is far and away the best place I've worked.

Cons

For me there are no downsides.
