Pros

The company has several advantages worth mentioning. Firstly, there is ample opportunity for career advancement, allowing employees to quickly progress to higher positions. Additionally, the company offers competitive compensation, ensuring good pay for its employees. Moreover, they provide computers/laptops to facilitate work efficiency. What sets this company apart is the exceptional dedication of certain Directors/Managers who go above and beyond to support and train their team members. Furthermore, the company exhibits flexibility and understanding when it comes to accommodating doctor's appointments and personal matters. By communicating with your manager and scheduling appropriately, leaving your desk for a short period is not an issue. Lastly, the holiday schedule is remarkable, granting employees time off for major holidays and an extended period during the holiday season.

Cons

To begin, there are a few notable Directors/Managers who excel in their roles. However, there are others who frequently take time off, proving inaccessible when needed, displaying a delayed response to emails, and lacking respect and professionalism when dealing with clients. Regrettably, the company operates as a family-run business, resulting in a lack of accountability and overlooked responsibilities that ultimately detriment the clients. Questionable practices within the company raise concerns about job stability. The owner's expectations, given the recent layoffs that affected half the company, appear unrealistic. Consequently, the workload has increased while compensation and staff numbers have decreased.

Pros

I had the pleasure of working as a web developer at Labroots for my first job, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience there. The culture of the company is one of the most supportive and goal-oriented that I have ever encountered, and I felt properly managed as an employee throughout my time there. One of the standout aspects of Labroots is the level of motivation that is present among all employees. From my fellow developers to the project managers, everyone was invested in the success of our projects and willing to go above and beyond to achieve our goals. This level of dedication was contagious, and it made me want to work harder and contribute more to the team. Additionally, the management at Labroots was exceptional. My director was always available to answer questions and provide guidance, and they made sure to give me the resources and support I needed to succeed in my role. I always felt valued and appreciated as a member of the team, and my contributions were recognized and celebrated. Overall, I would highly recommend Labroots to anyone looking for a supportive and motivated work environment. As a first job, it provided me with the perfect foundation for my career, and I am grateful for the experience and knowledge that I gained during my time there.

Cons

The job sometimes requires you to work beyond work hours in order to meet deadlines. That said, pacing yourself is crucial.

Pros

Labroots is a great company and is 100% remote. I work with people all over the US and sometimes internationally. Everyone is friendly and good at their jobs.

Cons

Sometimes, the timezone differences can be a pain. Especially when working with international clients.
