There is nothing quite like the feeling of seeing a child master a skill they’ve been struggling with or finding their voice for the first time. Watching that growth happen in real-time makes the job feel less like "work" and more like a purpose. Plus, you aren’t on an island; the ability to bounce ideas off teammates and get support when a session is tough makes a world of difference.

Cons

The role requires a high level of mental agility. Every child is different, and their needs can shift from one hour to the next, which can be draining if you aren’t prepared to pivot. It’s a fast-paced environment where you’re constantly "on," but you definitely find your rhythm as you get to know the clients better.
