Pros

Lots of ability to affect change with the autonomy in the different plants. Lots of collaboration and growth available only if you're willing to relocate though.

Cons

Lamar's plant level autonomy creates a situation in which there is no consistent set of rules. This creates chaos so employees are constantly disgruntled. Their structure really needs improvement. TRAINING is lacking in every way!

Pros

There is a strong work autonomy at Lamar. In addition, there are opportunities to engage in projects that have an overall positive impact on corporate profits.

Cons

The income at Lamar is low. The auto and cell phone allowance is not enough to cover their respective monthly expenses. There are too few advancement opportunities within the organization. Cronyism and the Good Old Boy Network are alive and well within the company. The software systems at Lamar are fragmented and are a reactionary byproduct to a particular need. The communication between the departments is poor, and there is a general lack of leadership.
