Pros

Very good hands on experience. I was also responsible, with two other co-workers, to prepare and present a Linux workshop every semester to new Grad students. I dealt with hardware, network, and several Operating Systems issues. The system was well maintained, so there were opportunities to work on other research projects while at work.

Cons

There are cons being student worker here.
