The culture in the company as a whole is very positive. Lancope strives to make each of the employees happy. I really like the unlimited vacation benefit. Get your work done and you can take off when ever needed. Very addictive. I work in the Software Engineering department which can be long hours and intense work. The leadership strives to make the work environment positive and enjoyable. We even have a Tiki Bar in our department, pretty cool! We have the freedom to try out new ideas which is refreshing. CEO is a really nice guy and actually takes the time to learn your name, wow pretty cool. Being a software company in the network security space in the current market space is great. Sales are really doing well and the company is growing.
Cons
Work load can be challenging at times with deadlines and commitments. Been leadership changes over the last year or so. We have had to adjust to new leadership philosophy but seems to be working better. Change is hard sometimes.
Lancope has a laid back tech-ish atmosphere where people wear t-shirts everyday, play arcade games and might even drink an occasional beer here or there.
They have a great work/life balance and a pretty cool unlimited time off policy.
Cons
There is a lot of change - we are growing fast so it can be a challenge so more communication would be better. I have had to move my desk a lot...
