It was a very poor place to work with regards to scheduling and leadership. They don't care about the employees at all.

Pros

The pay is really good if you are working steady hours. The workers are very nice. There are a lot of workers retiring and they need younger workers to fill in the jobs.

Cons

Low morale within the plant. Employees feel they are not valued. Daily and weekly meetings to keep everyone informed is helpful, but management doesn't heed advice. Continual help wanted ads in the paper. It's nothing but a revolving door for new people trying to get in and keep their jobs.

Pros

The management cares about their emploees. There are opportunities to be apart of projects if interested. They give back to the employees and have more diversity programs then before. Generally trying to be a more diversified company.

Cons

There are no developed career paths. If you want to come to the company to grow that is extremely hard to do. The maternity leave is not goood at all for the size company that it is or trying to grow into. You only get 5 weeks partially paid. They do not offer any paternity leave. Recently when upper management has been asked about the maternity leave the try to avoid the question and say it is being worked on but does not offer any information on this. They are trying to promote women in the work place but are very far away from really doing that.
