Pros

The company has a relatively new CEO, Jerome G. and I think is a good fit for the business and local culture (HQ is located in Dodgeville, WI). I think he has a good vision for the company and is very much a straight shooter. Individual positions offer a lot of autonomy (depending on area), and the company very much has a community around it, as it is located in a small town.

Cons

With ownership change and leadership change, it has made the internal culture a bit tough. They are working to streamline processes (which is a good thing!), and investing in employee training (also awesome), but have adopted a "do more with less" policy before having the new processes in place. Employees are often overworked and underpaid. The long hours and long commute, coupled with lower pay check contributed to my resignation.

Lands End 2021

Pros

As a 45 year long customer of the brand, in need of an immediate gap job, I solicited Lands End for any available opportunity. Ideally as Manager though accepted Sales Asssociate for immediate income. I found LE culture to be dysfunctional, poorly managed though an impressive number of sales associates, all women, had been employed at LE 15+ years. Ultimately I chose not to return to LE post March 16, 2021 shutdown due to pandemic and LE's notable lack of sanitation throughout store.

Cons

Ultimately I chose to leave LE post March 16, 2021 shutdown due to pandemic especially due to LE's notable lack of general maintenance. They did not use professional service but required employees do store cleaning.
