Pros

Lands' End has some nice folks working for them. My manager was great overall. Lands' End has bought into process improvement and is trying. However, their efforts to do so remain disjointed. Few folks seem to work late. Most I met were 9-5ers so there is good work-life balance.

Cons

Health insurance coverage is some of the worst I've had in my professional career. Expect premiums to be about $220 per month with an $800 deductible for which nothing is covered until you meet the deductible. Senior leadership is out of touch wih its staff. I rarely saw the team leaders from the Outfitters side, including the two director level people below the VP. Leaders value aggressive play for themselves types rather than team builders.

Pros

Good work-life balance, decent hours (no nights or weekends), pay is acceptable for the work being done

Cons

Extremely disorganized (cannot plan things as simple as a weekly schedule consistently, among other things), poor training programs, favoritism is rampant, upward movement/career progression is almost non-existent, underutilization of employee talent, unable to promise/deliver full-time hours to full-time employees (employees RARELY get 40 hours/week)
