Pros

Employees are good-Benefits are good

Cons

The onboarding process is horrible. Lands’End is a good company with good people but they need to invest in a new structured on-boarding process. When they hire a person they do not explain how broken their process is. Sink or Swim! This company has so many places to find information. They need to re-organize and invest. Training is left to get with team-mates and schedule an appointment on their calendar. MGT has so many things in their plate that they cannot assist with on-boarding. Back to back Teams meetings with every department which leaves no time for the job hired. Side note - they will give vacation time upfront- make sure to use it before you leave- they will not pay an employee out once a 2 week notice is given.

Pros

Opportunity to advance limited, not innovative, watched very talented staff leave the brand because promotions rarely happen, Senior Leadership gossips a lot about staff, not an industry leader for diversity/inclusion

Cons

Good work life balance, opportunities to grow in personal development (even though it is not rewarded), open door policy, friendly environment, collaborative

Pros

Plenty of opportunity and work for growth in the retail and direct to consumer sector. Industry best practices compliment cultural setting for advancement.

Cons

Challenges emerge when attempting to introduce change in an environment where individuals lean on past practices versus adopting new technologies and capabilities.
