Pros

Decent benefits and mostly remote

Cons

From regular meetings with over 20 people to the good old boys that run this place you’re sure to be uninspired. Literally common to have to sit through 5 hours of pointless meetings a day with 15 to 30 people in them with the same 5 talking the whole time. Management is nothing more than glorified assistants to the directors whose job could be done by anyone who can put together a spreadsheet. The process to deploy is so convoluted and outdated that it takes 2 weeks and 3 FULL team meetings regularly with about 20 people in them to do a SINGLE deployment. Never worked at a place that needed to flatten the team and management structure out more. Treat employees like children and berate people if their MS Teams status goes yellow for too long. Management often calls people randomly just to confirm they are working. Often would get calls at 415 Friday to “touch base”. ….more like check if you’re still working. Doesn’t matter all our deployments are forced to be done at midnight for 2 hours that week ….still better be ready for a random check in at 415 on Friday.

Pros

Training opportunities are worthwhile and help you keep up to date on the industry. Work-life balance is great as a normal company should be.

Cons

The benefits seem to have gotten worse over time, there is a lot of politics and scheming in upper management that prevents progress sometimes.
