      Pros

      A great group of people work at Langan in all offices. They are mostly dedicated and hard-working people. Mostly allows for flexibility in schedule. Offers straight-pay overtime for non-management engineers, which is an excellent perk (considering the amount of work they sometimes have to do). The variety and diversity of project work and experience is exceptional for a small (<1,000 person) firm. At Langan I have worked on high-profile, complex projects that are local to my office as well as overseas.

      Work life balance can be an issue sometimes. Often to meet the client demands and expectations that are unrealistic.

      The leadership is not afraid to take risks in terms of new business areas and they reward those willing to help.

      Cons

      Once you start under a manager it is difficult to move around and that can shape your experience.
