Business Outlook

Pros

Decent pay for a remote job, Adherence incentive for $1 extra,

Cons

Back to back calls for certain languages. No raises will ever be provided. No support system, You have to figure everything out yourself. NO way to move up to different roles in the company. Health insurance is garbage the bare minimum. Expect you to learn and study a lot outside of paid work time.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear that you find the pay competitive for a remote position and that the adherence incentive is a positive aspect of your experience. We understand that some language lines may experience higher call volumes, and we are continuously working to optimize scheduling and support to ensure interpreters have the best possible experience. Regarding career growth, while some roles may be specialized, we encourage employees to explore internal opportunities and professional development resources available. While we do not currently offer traditional raises, we regularly review our compensation structures and incentives to remain competitive. Your feedback is valuable as we work to improve support and training tools for interpreters. If you have specific suggestions or would like to share more details about your experience, please feel free to reach out to us at interpretercommunications@languageline.com.
