Employment Satisfation at a Midwest Community College

Pros

The Science Department had a diverse faculty while I was employed there. Most people were cordial and friendly. The reason I left was due to personal/family reasons. Otherwise, I would have continued working there and work towards full-time employment.

Cons

Most faculty are part-time adjuncts. So, it is common for people to leave for better opportunities.

None that I can think of. They is a twenty word minimum & I cannot even thing of anything "pro" about LCC.

Cons

Racist, the HR team is out to get you there. Not a good place to be & the unions are in bed with HR.

Classrooms are modern with good technology

Cons

No support for adjunct staff Poor pay No job security (even though I had consistently high performance of students and well above average reviews) No path to full-time Could have classes split between multiple LCC campuses
