Pros
Having been here for 3 months, this is how it appears. It is a nice place to work. Good managers and excellent work environment. I don't get sucked into many unproductive meetings. I'm allowed to do my job and given enough tools and time to do the work. I like going to work. I work with lots of people who are experts in their field and they will give you the detailed answers that come from good knowledge.
Cons
As in most schools, lots of internal churning and politics. Pay is a little low, but then Lansing always under performs when compared to Ann Arbor or Farmington Hills. Promotion in the past was not done on merit, and it shows in some areas.
